Well, I've just come home from work. I am very excited today as I feel, for the first time, that I am actually going away! During quiet moments today, I searched around the net for some towns to see on the Eastern side of France. There are so many wonderful places however I have chosen a few (names have been jotted down in my notebook- I will include them when I can be bothered getting the book from my car!). I am thinking we will head into Germany, Switzerland a teeny tiny part of Italy via tunnels to have a peek.
I have made a compact folder of all the places, the bookings, tours and hotels that we've booked into so far. The passport has been found and the International Driver's License has been obtained!
The only issue is the clothing, unsure of what to pack. Have a few things in mind but biggest dilemma is always shoes for me- I like small slip ons which are really inappropriate for walking a lot. I have my suede boots and a some heels for the Opera but other than them, I'm stuck!
How about Mary Jane crocs? Super comfy and slightly stylish.
